UL Mutual, now renamed UV Insurance is a Quebec-based mutual insurance company that serves Quebec, Ontario, and New Brunswick. UV Insurance offers life insurance, critical illness insurance, and a range of investment products.

UV Insurance products include:

Term Life Insurance – offers 10, 20 or 30 years terms. Each term is renewable and convertible into permanent insurance with some conditions. The premiums are fixed and cover up to $150,000.

Whole life Insurance – available for those 15 days to 75 years in 4 options. This policy covers up to $150,000 and offers a partial or complete surrender available if your situation changes.

Critical illness – offers a tax-free cover up to $2,000,000, for 24 critical illnesses or conditions, with a return of premiums possible after 10 years. You will also benefit from Best Doctors services.

Insurance for children – provides flexible coverage up to $100,000, until the age of 25, depending on the policies.

Accidental death – An additional coverage option that can be added to your life insurance. Available for those 0 to 55 years. Premiums go from $0.05 to $1000, depending on your age.
